Dinosaur Postcard Collection

The idea for this postcard collection was to create a cohesive set that would belong as part of a museum exhibition. Dinosaurs have always been a source of great interest to me, so I decided to make this set of postcards with information about each dinosaur on the back. I imagined this being used in a Children’s Museum paleontology exhibit. Since dinosaurs are usually portrayed in muddy, realistic colors, I went the opposite direction and made very bright, poppy colors. After completing my postcards, I then designed a packaging to house them, one part cardstock and the other part vellum to create a window that metaphorically creates a portal to the past.
