Patagonia Packaging ReImagined
For this project, I was tasked to rebrand an existing company’s packaging. Through my research, I found that Patagonia has a food brand called ‘Patagonia Provisions’. I felt that their existing packaging did not match their typical color palette or outdoor vibe. I intervened with strong complimentary colors that were picked from their current branding, incorporating their logo more prominently. I also created a topographic map pattern to create a consistent identity throughout the line of products. It was noted in my research that Patagonia does not carry many forms of outdoor utensils or re-usable packaging which I felt would be beneficial for their outdoor activities. So, I added a water bottle and a travel silverware container to the products, as well as switched the food packaging to paper and re-sealable for long adventures.
